Blackfish Review/Opinion

 The documentary was really cool, and sad. It made me upset when the fishermen were taking the baby orcas away from their mothers. It was fascinating to see the trainers jump off of the orcas. just saying :/  That doesn’t mean that I want them to stay at SeaWorld though. It’s not right to capture an animal from their home, and make them perform tricks. I still believe that the orcas should be freed. More about the movie, it showed why they think SeaWorld is bad, and I believe it. :)  Overall, the movie was great! ☺️ I rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.  🐳

Blackfish

    I read three articles about blackfish, also known as orcas, and how they are treated in SeaWorld. I think that they shouldn’t be kept in zoos because they should be able to freely swim without having to entertain people. They would be happier with their natural habitat and with their families. It started with a documentary called Blackfish. When people and animal safety groups got upset with SeaWorld. A group called People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, had disliked SeaWorld because of the documentary. They said that the treatment of the orcas was violent. I also think that they shouldn’t be put in captivity.

One Word 2019

  My one word for 2019 is Create. I chose this word because I thought that it would mean and make sense to me the most. When I think of this word, I would mean something like Create Goals, Create Friendships, Create Art, and other stuff. :  )  I think 2018 was a good year, but I hope 2019 is going to be even better. I hope to improve on my abilities and that I learn new amazing things. One thing I know that I’ll create, is memories. ☺️  I hope everyone has a great 2019!! 😊💜

Chicago History Project

 
      I am researching is The Willis Tower. 🏙 Soooo, a little about The Willis Tower, is that it’s a 110-story skyscraper. It started to get built in 1973, and in the process of buliding, it killed 60 construction workers. 👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️ And now I don’t know what else to wriiiiiite.😕     okie I’ll update soon..😴

Thanksgiving Plans

  On Thanksgiving, my cousins from Texas are coming to my house. I haven’t seen them for like two years. I really can’t wait anymore! 😊  My other cousins are coming too. I’m also going to make a pie. At first I thought that I had to go to my grandma’s house for Thanksgiving, but since my cousins are coming for the fist time in two years, I don’t have to go there. Even my dad can’t go.  I’m also making cookies with my sister and my mom. So to sum it up I’m having Thanksgiving dinner at my own house. 🙂

First Quarter Reflection

    I think that I did pretty well on my tests and assignments. I usually got 3’s. One thing that makes me a horrible student is that I have a habit of procrastinating A LOT. The thing is, I get stressed out when I have like 7 assignments due in like the next 2 days. I still do good at least. I think students would like more time to do an assignment than just 2 days. Sorry, but it’s true. At least to me it is, cause after all, it just my opinion. So, you either agree or disagree, and it’s fine by me because it’s an opinion. :) To sum it up, I’m an average student, I procrastinate and do my work well, and still get 3’s. :D

Halloween Plans

  On Halloween, my sister dressed up as a vampire, and I dressed up as myself. :)
My mom took us trick-or-treating at 5:00 and we each got a lot of candy. The houses near my house so so bad, cause they don’t even give out candy. Itz like they gots no respect for childs. >:0 After like two hours we went home and watched scary movies on Netflix, without my sister >:] cause she would get scared. boom 💥 end of story. :]
